Leaf shredder

The leaf shredder is used for shredding long-fibred leaf particles. A drum with screw- mounted, hard-wearing blades is mounted in a sturdy drum housing. The leaves are shredded thanks to the high speed of the drum’s rotation. Two rows of opposing knives, pivot mounted onto the housing, support the shredding.

If a foreign body such as wood is encountered, the counter blades rotate out of the shredding area in order to prevent greater damage. After the foreign body is removed, the machine can be put back into operation. The drum housing is completely screw-assembled, which simplifies the replacement of worn parts.
